The Little Miss Buffalo Pageant is a fundraising event for the Miss Buffalo Scholarship Program, an official Miss America Preliminary. The Miss America Organization is a not-for-profit organization that is also the largest scholarship foundation for women in the world. For the past 56 years, it has encouraged young women to pursue academic goals, contribute to society through community service, polish personal and professional skills and perfect their performing arts abilities. Our local titleholder, Miss Buffalo, is an excellent role model for young women. The competition is open to young women between the ages of 4 and 16 who reside in one of the 15 counties of Western New York. The Little Miss Buffalo Titleholders will be special guests at the 2005 Miss Buffalo Scholarship Pageant on Sunday, Januray 30, 2005. The pageant will be held at the Warren Enters Theatre on the campus of Buffalo State College beginning at 2:00 P.M.
